COURSE DESCRIPTION
Education-based Endodontics: Timeless Technique in Confusing Times
This combined lecture, case review, and hands-on program is designed to provide endodontic techniques and related training to dentists working toward Mastership through the AGD. Areas of focus will include cleaning and shaping, irrigation activation techniques, and obturation, as well as recognition and management of complications and medical emergencies that may arise in dental practice. Hands-on sessions provide participants with opportunities to practice skills and simulate these techniques.

About Dr. Joshua Lee
Dr. Joshua Lee is a Fairfax, Virginia native dedicated to a philosophy of education-based endodontics. He completed his specialty training at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and previously served as a Clinical Educator at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He now holds a faculty appointment in Columbia’s Department of Endodontics, where his clinical and research interests span non-surgical root canal therapy, root-end microsurgery (apicoectomy), pulp regeneration, dental trauma management, and irrigation efficiency.

The TNAGD is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship/Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2026.
