The Power of Ownership: Navigating Practice Transitions in the Age of DSOS
This session provides a comprehensive look at the current dental transition landscape—and why, in many cases, doctor-to-doctor transitions remain the most beneficial option for both parties. Designed for both buyers and sellers, this course explores the tax, financial, and structural advantages of traditional transitions, as well as the long-term impact of these decisions on wealth, retirement, and practice legacy. Associates will gain clarity on why ownership is still the fastest track to financial independence, while owners will learn why selling to another doctor—not a DSO—may offer more security, flexibility, and value. Whether you’re preparing to buy your first practice or planning your exit strategy, this course offers real-world insight and a strategic framework to guide your transition with confidence
