About Dr. Kisby

Dr. Kisby is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After completing his Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Floating Hospital at New England Medical Center in Boston, MA, Dr. Kisby was Chief of Pediatric Dentistry and Assistant Director of Dentistry at R.I. Hospital in Providence, RI. He then went on to spend 17 years in private practice in Massachusetts until he accepted the position of Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. He has been Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry since 1983, was a former Contributing editor to the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry, he has multiple publications, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kisby had created two Pediatric Dental Residencies, one in Danville, PA and the second in Wilmington, DE, where he was Program director of both programs. Dr. Kisby is a Clinical Instructor in Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is currently the staff Pediatric Dentist at the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in Lac du Flambeau, WI with the IHS. Dr. Kisby has over 40 years of clinical and teaching experience thus bringing new and exciting techniques and insights to those dentists and staff who treat children.

About Dr. Cornell

Dr. Jennifer Cornell earned her undergraduate degree at Austin Peay State University in Radiologic Technology and completed a certificate program in Nuclear Medicine Technology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She worked as a Nuclear Medicine Technology for almost a decade before going back to school. She is a 2005 graduate of Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry. Upon graduation she joined her father’s general dentistry practice as an associate. She purchased the practice in 2011. Her interest in Dental Sleep Medicine grew around the same time when she met Dr. Seven Greenman, who operates a private educational program that focused on training dentists in the field of oral appliance therapy. He was trained by Dr. Glen Clark, a founding figure in the field of OAT. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, a Spencer Study Club BEAST member, and Healthy Start Provider. Dr. Cornell is a past President of the American Association of Women Dentist, served as the New Dentist Chair for the Tennessee Dental Association and has served on numerous other committees. She is a Fellow of the American College of Dentist as well as the International College of Dentists. She has also earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and serves on the TN AGD board of directors. She is passionate about the airway and assisting others to breathe well while sleeping, especially in our growing and developing children.
